Career Experience

After graduating from OUC and achieving an academic award, I started my career with the Ministry of Environment in Penticton working on water licencing; then I was an operator for Big White Ski Resort working in all four EOCP disciplines; then worked my way up to Foreman at Rutland Waterworks. When I am not fixing water leaks in Rutland, I spend my time monitoring ground water.

Why I Became A Technology Professional

  • Growing up I spent a lot of time in the outdoors and wanted to make a career out of protecting this environment. I started with in a Bachelor of Science degree program when I found the shorter 2 ½ year WQT Program at Okanagan University College.
