Timothy Murphy, AScT
I have over 30 years of experience in transportation engineering in both the private and public sectors. I have a wide breadth of experience in many transportation projects throughout British Columbia and Alberta. My specific experience includes transportation planning studies, road safety engineering, traffic management, traffic calming, geometric road design, traffic operations, traffic signal systems, business case analysis and intelligent transportation systems.
Why I Became A Technology Professional
- I was a young man serving in the Canadian Armed Forces in Germany wondering what I was going to do with the rest of my life. One day I met two engineers surveying for a new road, and I knew instantly that was what I wanted to do.
