Why I Became A Technology Professional

  • I became a technology professional because I am interested in using technology to solve problems. Civil engineering in particular appealed to me because of the scale of many of the projects. I love working on projects where volumes of material are measured in the thousands of cubic meters and project extents are further then the naked eye can see. Early in my engineering career I did a lot of construction layout and surveying. This really maximized the understanding of what a site looks like before and after construction and was something that I really enjoyed.
