Career Experience

In the early 1990’s I gained 15 years of hands-on experience as a contractor with a large international company. I then moved on to various supervisory and management opportunities. For the past 8 years I have been managing the maintenance, operations and safety requirements of civic facilities for the City of Nanaimo. My role involves liaising with stakeholders groups, contactors and agencies in BC and across Canada on both technology and policy matters.

Why I Became A Technology Professional

  • I grew up having a passion for robotics and electronics. I worked on many projects as a kid trying to gain more knowledge and understanding. My desire to understand how things worked continued to grow.
