Career Experience

I am a Senior Structural Engineer with over 38 years of experience working in the engineering profession. I have worked on several bridge, marine, industrial and transportation projects for federal, provincial, municipal and private sector clients. My duties have included RFP preparation, bridge design, bridge rehabilitation design, condition surveys and evaluation of existing bridges and docks. I also have experience in estimating, construction surveying, contract administration, project management and occupational health and safety.

Why I Became A Technology Professional

  • Large structures (bridges, tunnels and dams) fascinated me from a young age. In July 1958, my father drove me across the new Okanagan Lake Bridge. I was hooked. From that day on, I knew exactly what I wanted to do when I grew up.
