Career Experience

I continued my education at BCIT in 1976 and was promoted to crew chief and worked at the District until 2007. I was certified and a house inspector in 2008 and started Ken Mayo House Inspections soon after, working privately and on contract until 2009. Since then I have continued to develop the residential inspection business as an independent licensed home inspector.

Why I Became A Technology Professional

  • I became interested in technology after being employed at the District of North Vancouver Engineering Department as a surveyor’s assistant in 1975. I began studying soon after to learn surveying computations as a means to advancement, but realized that the technology field was something for which I was well suited.
