Why I Became A Technology Professional
- I became a Technology Professional because of my huge interest in building and construction. After immigrating to Canada, my main goal was to find a company where I can share my knowledge and experience in Civil engineering. I found out an important qualification Canadian employers look for is a professional designation. I wanted my technical experience and qualifications recognized so with my motivation I immediately applied and submitted documentations to ASTTBC for certification. Later I confirmed from our instructor when I was taking my Business management certificate that a designation is vital in order to represent yourself professionally in running a business. I am truly glad in successfully obtaining it because I became extra confident when dealing with fellow professionals, consultants and the public.
