Career Experience

Since graduating from college I've assumed roles in QC, Engineering Design and Project Management.  The businesses I've supported have included large a large furniture manufacturer, a large transit bus manufacturer, smaller mid-size manufacturers and most recently a business that manufactured metal fab parts in China and sold them to a business in China.  Communications and managing the technical details of large scale projects are my specialty.

Why I Became A Technology Professional

  • The road towards becoming a technology professional began early in my life.  In the late 70's and early 80's video games, personal computers and electronic toys had become a part of the lives of children and I embraced the technologies with great curiosity.  This began a lifelong interest in technology.

Career Highlights

  • Created wiring designs that have been installed in transit buses that can be found in nearly every major city in N.America
  • Worked closely with factory ownership, management and the production staff on high dollar value metal fabrication projects in Guangzhou and Jiangdu, China
  • Was the first graduate of a Woodworking Manufacturing Technology program in Canada to achieve Certified Engineering Technologist certification
