Career Experience

In 1993, I moved to Prince George, gaining employment with L&M Engineering, a local civil engineering firm. I worked on municipal, residential, industrial, commercial and recreational projects for numerous northern communities. In 2006, I joined the City of Prince George as an engineering assistant and now hold the position of Supervisor in the Engineering.

Why I Became A Technology Professional

  • I grew up in the East Kootenays, BC. After high school I pursued passion to further my education expanding upon the (hand) drafting skill, and graduated from BCIT in 1985 with an Economics Major in Building Technology.

Career Highlights

  • Design Build of a complete village in Siberia for 400 people.
  • Legislative Assembly Building in Yellowknife. Assisted the architects and strucutural engineer's with developing the builiding shape and assisted in preparing the Civil Design
  • Design of 1000+ residential lots in Prince George
  • Assistant Project Manager on large commercial developments in Prince George
  • Project Manager of the Cameron St. Bridge and the PG Pulpmill Road Bridge, Prince George

  • 2014 - Present Council Member; Founding Committee Member and current Chair of BCWiT (205-2017); Member and current President of Northern Technology and Egineering Society (NTES)
