After graduation from BCIT, I was hired by BC Rail as a Geotechnical Inspector on the Northeast Coal Project assisting in the construction the 82 mile railroad grade to Tumbler Ridge. After this project was completed, I continued to work in varions job functions within the BC Rail Engineering Dept. until BC Rail was taken over by Canadian National Railway in July 2004. I now work as a Crossing Coordinator for CN Engineering Services in Surrey, BC.
