Worked in Municipal and Regional Government in Scotland, UK in addition to small and medium sized contractors in site servicing and heavy earth moving. Moved to Canada in 1981 and joined a consulting engineering co. as a construction inspector. Worked on varying levels of design/construction for roadworks and subdivisions. Have advanced in municipal government management in senior Public Works Operational positions and am currently Asset Manager for the City of Prince George.
Why I Became A Technology Professional
- I enjoy being involved in building things. In civil engineering your work remains on public display for many years and hopefully reflects the talents you have contributed to the project.
Professional & Community Activities
- I have presented numerous papers on public works, snow management and asset management at regional, national and international events. Parent Advisory Council Chair at Elementary & Secondary schools, past official in local running swimming and PG Iceman. Dir. 2008 BC Seniors Games.
