Career Experience

I have worked in both the private & public sector of the construction industry, starting as a Technologist in the exciting world of Architecture. After realizing my strengths in Codes & Bylaws, I made a career-shift, working as Building Official for the RDN, and later the City of Nanaimo. As the occasion presented itself for yet another career change, I seized the opportunity to work for Vancouver Island University, where I currently enjoy a dynamic position as a Campus Planner & Developer

Why I Became A Technology Professional

  • I always had a fascination with technology; whether it was a sprinkler, a household appliance or a tree-fort, I had to know just exactly how it was built. I used to dream, draw & construct as a boy, now I have an exciting career doing just that!
