Career Experience

After completing a short stint in the private sector working for an architect, Pam spent 3 1/2 years with the City of Burnaby as a Plan Checker, followed by 10 years as a Municipal Building Inspector for the District of West Vancouver. She is the founder of Zimba Design, a thriving building design company serving Vancouver, the North Shore and the Sea to Sky Corridor.

Why I Became A Technology Professional

  • After watching friends go to the big universities for years and years just to obtain a degree in 'something', I felt it was important to go to school for something specific where I would come out with a hirable profession on the other end.

  • First female building inspector on the North Shore, and one of the first in the Lower Mainland
