Career Experience

I have just taken early retirement from TELUS and I am contemplating future opportunities. My extensive career in Telecommunications has spanned a number of Canadians Telcos – NBTel, Bell Canada, Telecom Canada and TELUS. Although many of those years were spent in various management positions in Engineering and Network Planning, my recent background includes Marketing, Business Transformation and Program Management.

Why I Became A Technology Professional

  • During my high school years, I often spent evenings sitting at the kitchen table with my dad troubleshooting electronic problems on a radio, stereo or TV. I loved math and science and when it came time to pursue a career, my father encouraged me to investigate a technology career – a career that would engage me, challenge me and allow me to grow and to be self-sufficient.
