Career Experience

Following my trade carrer, I worked as a Certified Technologist as a draftsman, a salesman, an estimator for a subtrade & general contractor and then as a project manager with a consulting firm for whom I eventually opened a Victoria office. Subsiquently I took a job as the Construction Manager with a School District where I worked for over 7 years. I now am the Manager of the Housing Department for Cowichan Tribes, the largest First Nation band in BC.

Why I Became A Technology Professional

  • As a tradesman I desired to upgrade myself to use my construction knowledge in a more technical field.

Professional & Community Activities

  • Volunteer with Commonwealth Games in Victoria 1984...and with NAIG 2008. Scout leader for many years. Provided trades training including talk to ASHRE on Hazardous Materials.
